Next to the Proloco there is a palace which was the headquarters of the municipality, designed in 1879 by the engineer Ferdinando Mascanzoni, professor at the institute of fine arts in Urbino. It was built on an ancient house that belonged to the family of the architect Bramante and inside the lobby there is still a small decoration with compass, probably for this reason. During the demolition an architrave was preserved with the coat of arms of the Bramante family.

On the 22nd of June 1924 Fermignano wanted to inaugurate the medal dedicated to one of the most important fellow citizens, Donato Bramante: a symbolic act for the cultural identity of the town, which came after the birth of the Bramante circle at the end of the 19th century (1873), of the philharmonic society (1875), and of the society of public entertainment (1883). Even today the study of the history of the territory is the main activity of the local history researchers and intellectuals who find interest and public sharing in modern associations and groups.
